Pre-purchase Home Inspecting
EMF is family owned and has been operating in the Madison, Wisconsin area since 1991. We provide you and your Realtor an on-site Report detailing the conditions of the home including defects, safety concerns, energy features or needs, and items you should be aware of to maintain your home. Come along and feel free to ask questions during the time we spend thoroughly inspecting your future home (typically 2.5-3.5 hours). We can discuss alternative solutions to any of the conditions found or talk about the ideas you may have about remodeling.
Energy Consulting for New and Existing Homes
Existing homeowners can have an Energy Assessment done on your home. This EMF Report will detail ways you can: reduce their monthly bills, make your home more comfortable and affordable, identify the most cost effective improvements to start with, add long-term value to your house, and receive Cash Rewards and Tax Credits.
Since 1998, EMF has been also providing energy consulting services to existing Homeowners, Remodelers, and Builders. EMF is currently providing building science information and better building techniques to 31 Madison Area Builders. I have dealt with over 700 homes. Currently, over 10,000 Homes are enrolled in the Wisconsin ENERGY STAR Homes program State-wide, through 175 active Builders, of which 100 are in Southern Wisconsin.
